Victorian and Edwardian Glasshouses
Beard's Patent glasshouses refer to a specialised, late-Victorian glazing system used by W. G. Smith & Co, Horticultural Engineers of Victoria Works, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Surviving glasshouses can be identified by the metal frame stamp which reads:
